Boom… Neighbor Friends

And I PROMISE I will get pictures of this someday.

Long story condensed as much as I can… We know [essentially] no one in our neighborhood. One day while we were at the neighborhood park, a man and a woman with two twin toddlers rolled up in a wagon. The twins are Finn and Jack. Graham could be their triplet, no kidding.  Finn and Jack are 2 months older than Graham and the three hit it off. By hit it off, of course I mean essentially ignored each other completely – all wandering around doing their own thing. But no one got pushed or bitten during our time at the park, so I’m going to go ahead and call it love at first sight.

Today, Graham and I were waiting for Andy to get home, so we pulled out the sidewalk chalk and set to coloring our driveway. And, wouldn’t you know it, Jack and his dad come walking down the street. We waved at each other. The boys squinted at each other. I asked them to join us, so Jack and Graham played chalk for a good 15-20 minutes or so. Andy came home during that time and… well… we socialized.

In our neighborhood.  Crazy!

And just like that, Graham has neighborhood friends. :)

You could all turn out to be good friends. We fondly remember our neighbors on Circle Hill Court. Those were good times hanging out while the kids played.
