Daylight Savings, Revisited

It’s Daylight Savings again! (Someone needs to explain to me sometime why we *begin* Daylight Savings in the spring. Why would we need to conserve daylight during the summer months when daylight is most abundant? Life makes no sense sometimes.)

Not to be overly hyperbolic, but today I felt like an Israelite finding the promised land after wanting for 40 days in the desert. Except it’s been around 120 days and the desert has been VERY… very… cold. And pretty dark too.

Not complaining. Just describing. 😉

Today was warmish (40 degrees – I’ll take it!) and bright. Just lovely!

But today, we again suffered the fallout of the weird bedtime thing. And, again, Graham – at 9:30 pm,after jumping off the bed multiple times – was granted a field trip downstairs to talk to Grandpa Craig and Grandma Sue on the phone.

They talked mostly about the movie “Coach Bombay” (which is known to the rest of the world as D2: The Mighty Ducks). Graham got a chance to explain that we rented it from the library, and how the library works.

They chatted a bit about how we visited our new neighbors, too, and what they were like.

Basically, they got the whole scoop. 😉

I love these special moments.

Eventually, the sleepy eyes took over, and I scooted Graham back to bed. It’s been a long winter, but the sun is shining now. I think we may actually make it to spring! :)
